Rechrome Ignition Shielding?
Anyone rechromed their original factory/OEM ignition shielding pieces---or due to cost, time and trouble is it just better to purchase new ignition shields from the aftermarket vendors?
My 1973 top shield and two vertical shields are OK, but the lower motor spark plug wire "U" shields; and the 4 spark plug heat shields by exhaust manifolds are in need of rechroming or replacement.

All of the original pieces I've seen have minimal chrome (flash chrome, or even less), I'm sure you could get your pieces rechromed, but It would be hard to end up with an original type chrome finish.
