No wonder you beat him, that's one heck of a wheel stand in your sig pic

Having second thoughts now that I see the thread on the 408ci. They stuffed a 4 in. crank into a stock OEM 350ci block, I might do the same with a OEM 400ci block, and use the money saved for other go fast parts
ok so they all have tail lights ... are wider than they are tall ... and ... ? everyone is entitled to their opinion but there is NO chance i would ever mistake an Evo for a malibu from almost any distance.
You guys are all makin me feel bad as I have had the vette going for 2 summers now and only one actual race and that was my nephews 69 road runner with a 440. He has 3.90 gears and bigger tires compared to my 3.08 gears and some "huge" 255/60/15"s. His car runs an 11.7 quarter and he does get me by a car length or two from a dig but I catch him real fast and am a good 150-200 feet ahead of him at the finish line. If a wrx weighs 3350, that seems like alot as my vette weighs right at 3400 with a 468 motor, twin turbo setup and a full tank of gas. I missed a chance to run against a new ZO6 a few weks ago, a guy was passing through the area and stopped in at the local parts house looking for some little thing for his pickup. It was black with black wheels, mean lookin damn thing. Didnt even think about it till I had left the store and was about home....still kickin my a$$ over that one.
Its a high rise hood from vanacor. its 2 1/4" taller then the stock one, I fit a RPM intake with 1" carb spacer and still have like 1.5-2 inches of free space.
Motorhead
Thanks for the photo shop work. Once I finish school I'll be doing that for real!!!

Why not pay 25 bucks and get some timeslips so you know what your car will do?
hmmm i didnt know they weigh that much, that doesnt surprise me too much though because those cars have all of the standard comfort features of new cars and a lot of drive train due to the heavy duty AWD system in them.

.....and the 450# ridiculous wing that is standard or required aftermarket.
C3's are like Harley's chicks like em! Harley's get beat by just about anything on two wheels but my old Flame Throwing 2003 Roadglide made everyone within eyesight stop and look! Burning 1.5 litres of fuel per minute makes a fireball that can't be ignored. C3's look cool so now imagine my EX fighter plane Checkvette with the afterburner effect of say 3 liter's a minute. I post some pics of the afterburner setup in action when we take to the streets in spring!
It doesn't have to be fast (it is anyway thanks to 300 hp 700R4 with 4.11 gears) The cool factor in the shark is the looks.
