Default Small victories over Bubba

Everytime I correct something on my car (whether it can be seen or not) I feel I have taken another step in saving my car for its former owners neglect and abuse. It amazes me how so many Corvettes have been abused by former owners. These people should not be allowed to have these cars. I am surprised by how many people want to re-engineer these cars with Rube Goldberg solutions. I know I will probably never get back the money I put into the car but who cares, it gives me so much enjoyment. I bought this car to drive and enjoy evenif it kills me (financially)!!!

It has taken me 2 1/2 yrs to get over the bubba factor on my Vette. But, now every base has been covered and all the bubba fixins' has been eliminated. Yes the cost has been high but, well worth it. I'm the third owner and the last owner had it for five years and swears he didn't do any of the bubba fixins' but, I find it hard to believe that one could drive a Vette for that long and not repair some of the obvious items. Bottom line is; my C3 is feeling much better now! :yesnod:
