Default 17 Inch Ansen Sprint Aluminum from American Racing

Has anyone used the 17 inch Ansen Sprints from American Racing on their C3? The wheel has the "feel" of the factory mags but would allow me to use 17 inch high performance tires.

Happy New Year and thanks.

If they made them in 17x9 for the front and 17x12 for the rear maybe

I tried some on mine and sent them back because they dont clear the caliper without spacers. I like the look of them though, "OLD SCHOOL".

17" are hard to find for these cars in anything short of solid gold. Are you wanting 17" rubber for performance driving or just bling bling?

Not exactly bling bling although I like things to look good. I just thought these would pay homage to the period aluminum wheels but give me the benefits of 17 inch wheels.

My thoughts were to have a set of tires which could actually use the top speed potential of my car which is around 145 at 5500 with my 3.07rear end on 27 inch diameter tires. I would like to take to a track day and need rubber to match the top end. I've pushed the engine a bit past stock into the low 300s (204/215 -420/443 lift cam, Dart heads, performer EPS intake and edelbrock performer carb and true dual exhaust). I was thinking of putting either 255 50 17s or 235 55 17s on it. Both can be had Z rated, the 235s can also be had in H.
