Draining Radiator
My next project is pulling the heads on my '72 sb. Needs valve stem seals and possibly head gaskets. I also want to check the condition of the rings. So, I go to drain the radiator and find that the bottom drain is partially obscured by this:
It seems that to get a clear shot to drain the radiator from this plug, I need to remove this guy. I think I'm better off just pulling the lower hose since it would drain faster and be easier to flush. Just checking with the experts before proceeding.
