I knew this was missing, but kind of forgot about it. Now that we are getting ready to paint, I need to replace it (it shows!) before we paint. Anyone have an extra laying around (yeah, right) ;) or know where I can get one?

Shrike -- there are two per door, an upper and a lower, one for each hinge. Naturally, there are also lefts and rights. Let 999 know exactly what you need.

I replaced the passanger door a few years back. What I may have and will look for this weekend is the cover that goes over the upper hinge bolts.

Spent a good part of the evening looking in the garage. I know I had one, the part you circled, and will look again tomorrow. If I do find it, will just mail it off to you. Well at least the garage is now cleaner.

I have looked all over the garage, but can not find that hinge cover. Sorry. It may still show up but only because it is some place it was not intended to be. I got so close that I even found the old gasket for under the cover.

I don’t know how much of a hurry you are for the piece, but if it can wait a bit I can pick one up from J & D Corvette in Belflower for you. They have a Vette junkyard down the road. Please advise.

That would be great. The place I used to go here to get stuff like that went out of business. Sorry to hear about the wasted effort in the garage, but i know what you mean about it being cleaner! Let me know what you find out, I really appreciate it.
