IT depends on if you have AC or not. Shop rate is about 7-9 hours for an AC car - you get it through the interior. Non-AC cars are about half that (if that much). I had mine done at Tony's Corvette for about $450. I provided the parts. Core was about $80. I forget what the seal kit and fluids and new hoses and other misc stuff cost.
