Don't know about that but I have started seeing threads about putting on C6 or similar mirrors. They looked pretty good.

I bought mirrors from the auto parts store, primed and painted them body color.
They cover the existing holes.

I have the factory mirrors but the 1/4 panel blocks most of the mirror.

Default Corvette vs. F-Body Sport Mirror

If you have the factory Sport Mirrors, you may already be aware of this and I apologize beforehand if you are. Many folks unknowingly purchased and installed Camaro/Firebird sport mirrors on their Corvettes back in the day. They were more readily available and often less expensive. Unfortunately most folks didn't realize that there was a difference in the two mirrors, they appear identical unless you see them side-by-side or measure them. The Corvette mirror has a pedestal that is about an inch taller than the F-body mirror pedestal. This inch makes a substantial difference in the rear view.

This is what the pedestal on the Corvette looks like...

It doesn't provide a perfect view, but it is much better than the view through the F-body mirror.

Good luck... GUSTO

You have to drill new holes. just use gasket to mark holes and drill, u can use one existing hole and go from there. Pretty straight forward if you're not adding all the electrics maybe some shaving but not sure if its needed. They look cool in pictures but I personally like the c6 ones better but aurora and rivs can be found at any pick your part.

I like these because they look like the dont stick out as far as the c5/6 mirrors do, I picked up a pair for $30. i would like to add the electric part but the wiring diagram for those cars is hard to find.
