I had a guy put a new windshield in this weekend. After the job was done, the wipers weren't working. Before the installation, we did remove the wiper arms to get them out of the way.
Now all im getting is a click at the wiper motor when I flip the switch, but nothing after that. I figured it would be something obvious like a connection got bumped loose, but I couldn't see anything obvious, and the click at the motor tells me the switch is talking to it.
Did you just take off the wipers or remove the whole transmission assembly? If it was the assm. then it could be binding. Loosen the nut for the motor and see if it turns freely without assembly hooked up.
If all you did was wiper removal, seems as though a wire might have gotten disco'd in the process... BLue and Yellow in front of motor. Maybe ground?
I just took off the wiper arms from the knurled studs they mount too. The first thing I did when trying to trouble shoot was unhook the linkage so I could just see if the wiper motor would spin around. It didn't but I do get that click when I turn on the wiper switch. I get a click when pushing the washer pump too.

It sounds like it is binding. Touch the motor with switch on... can you feel movement? If not... then the connections... but the click would tell me it has power, but just not moving. Also, you can take the inspection cover off... black plastic piece on front of motor. I is very unlike it died the same time you took off the wipers...

The door was removed during all this to facilitate removing the linkage in my troubleshhoting attempt, and to actually put the new windshield in to start with. But yes, the hinges were left in and all the wiper door switches are making contact as if the door was still there.
