Speedometer gear selection for 700R4/3.73 combo?
Does anyone with this combination know the details of what speedo gears that they have installed? I will probably buy this stuff from Bowtie Overdrives but I was curious to know what others were using.
I had just purchased a complete $44 assembly from BTO to use with my 3.08s when I did the trans swap. After talking to BTO on the phone today, I found that I am going to have to buy a completely different carrier, drive gear and driven gear to work with the 3.73 gear ratio. Basically a another $44 assembly.
Anybody need a good deal on a complete "like new" speedo gear/series 30 carrier setup for a 700R4/3.08? :D
