Default Plug wires

I bought a set of wires for my 76 with HEI. They didn't have the shape to fit the plastic ring that holds them down to the distributor. I know the aftermarket will work but, I just want it original. I cant find any. Does anyone have a brand or part number for the original type?

Yes Zip-corvette.com has them part number E-550 also Willcox, Corvette america and Corvette central. I installed this set about a month ago after an engine rebuild and head and cam change. These fit perfect with stock chrome ignition covers and Hei cap clips. They are $60.00 and are perfect for stock appearance and cut for perfect length. They also come with diagram with length to cylinder for easy install.

They do have nipples for the top ring to clip into.

The newer Delco wires don't have the nipple but the ring will still hold the wires in place. I have these on my '76.
