Installing trans cooler
Where do most folks install the typical aftermarket trans cooler, this particular one is sold by B&M. I'm not really keen on using the plastic straps that run through the radiator, at least not on this new DeWitts unit. I'm thinking of intalling it forward of the A/C condensor. Any pics or ideas?
Thanks

I have B&M coolers on both my toys, the Vette and the Jimmy. On the Vette its mounted on front of and through the radiator using cushioning pads. On the Jimmy using brackets in front of the radiator with about a 1" space between them. The Jimmy has a 3000 stall and the trans stays cool even in the heat of Summer. I don't run either through the radiator. The Vette has been run in this configuration for several years with no problems.

I always wonderd it it would be possible to mount a cooler in to side fender with a small fan the would evacuate the heat through the fender vent. Maybe someone has done this. I would think it would aid in keeping the radiator cooler without the obstruction. Just an idea
