While attempting to fis the electric door locks on my 80, I noticed wiring running between the outer door and door skin. I also noticed the contacts at the lock cylinder for the alarm. This is new to me. The wires will not pull out from behind the door skin. Any suggestions? Also, it appears the hot wire for the door locks runs to the alarm connection prior to powering the driver side lock relays. Should I disconnect the live wire to the alarm? If so, where do I run it in order to power the lock relay? My initial goal was to get the locks working until I discovered the alarm. It'd be nice to have it all working.

GM 1980 Corvette Shop Manual. You can find them on ebay occasionally. I've seen them range from $30 to over $80. Good Luck.
