Check out the following link for a new mirror:
http://cgi.ebay.aol.com/ebaymotors/a...item=598369524

68-74 is the small head and should measure 5-1/2 x 3-1/2.

Just measured mine (large).
Looks like 3-5/8" by 6-1/4" (measured on the outer edge of the chrome).

Mine measures 3-7/8" x 5-3/8". Must be the small, which I will go with.

I'm backing out of a fairly tight garage along a retaining wall. I need the view that only a right side mirror can give.

It looks like the majority have either added the passenger mirror or are going to add the passenger mirror.

How odd, I'm hardly ever in the majority in how I think about things

Thanks for all of the responses.

Jerry

Way to go. You will like it.

Have factory sport mirrors option. 77 was first yr. for factory dual mirrors. If it did not have, would have installed immediately. Earlier was dealer installed option.
Besides the benefit, look how good Gunther's (WESCH) earlier Vette looks.

I agree completely. Other than the great sleek look, the safety factor in important to me. If Pasngr side wasn't so hard to find and set wasn't so $$, that's what I would do too!!!

I only have a chrome mirror on the driver side. I've thought about putting the passenger side on, but I like how it is different, so I'm probably not going to go through with it. I don't think I could drill into the body anyway. As Bence13_33 pointed out, people are always asking me why the passenger side mirror isn't on. Most think it fell off and they still get confused when I tell them that it never had one on it. Visibility has never been a problem for me, so I'm more than sure I'm going to stick with the original look.

I think you did a great job putting it on and it looks great and I would not have a car without a passenger side mirror.
