Lars, OMG that distributor rocks
I posted a few days back that my car was surging when I was not accelerating. This was with the original 1973 L-82 distributor I had on it. I guess it was sort of a personal goal to get that one ironed out before I took it off. Today I gave up. I decided what the heck and to go ahead and put that 1112150 distributor on it that you rebuilt. This is the one that had been converted to electronic and had a broken cam that needed tigged. Well the car idles like a cat purring again but more than that it is catching rubber from a stop without even trying. It's a blast to drive it. Even when the other distributor was perfect it was never this responsive. What is most responsible for the change in power? Weights, springs, vacuum cannister, all of the above?
