So that's where that orange line went.
Bubba replaced all my gauges before I got the car. He did a fair job mechanically. It's the rats nest of wiring, several yards of electrical tape, bad grounds, crimping ring terminals on the plastic housing, taps to taps to taps, bare wires wrapped around ring terminals and taped off, and especially all the hanging single gray wire dash lights with no bulbs just waiting for the unsecured center conductors to reach out thru the bulb housing and ground out, that bothered me.
I have to pull my headlight switch too. Think I can get to it around the end of the pad on this '75. Works fine in all respects but one. Can't turn and click the switch to turn on the courtesy lights. Turns fine, clicks fine, but no joy.

Melting Slicks
you can get the $12 wells switch 141 and transfer the vacuum ports over to it from the original. Thats what I am going to do if I can ever get the D@MN rod out of the stupid switch!!! Still having trouble with that! I guess I am mgoing to just have to pull the whole dash pad again.
