Default 68 L36 - what carburetor?

The L36 390 bhp 427 came with a 4 bbl carburetor. What make and model was the OEM carburetor? Also, was this engine ever offered with a manual transmission or did you have to go to the 400 hp engine to get a 4 speed? Any help will be appreciated.

L36 427 V8 390 bhp @ 5400 rpm, 460 lb-ft @ 3600 rpm; 1x4 bbl – hyd..

FYI, I have the same ci/hp set up for my '68. The 7028216 is one year only carb for a automatic car. If you can find one, they are pricey.

Same with manual trans carb 7028209. Took me years to find a good core at a less than stratospheric price.
