Default 68 Alternator wiring?? CS144

First a big thanks to Durango boy for getting me to this point!

Her is what I've got.
68 with a 69 nom 350. I'm upgrading to a cs144 alt applicable to a 96 Impala ss.
I've wired the red to bat lug and hooked up ground to the case.
I ran an 8 ga wire from bat on alt to bat lug on starter.
I have a white and a blue wire left from the old SI plug (no plug)
The blue is hot with switch and running and the white is not in either case. The adapter plug for the alt has 4 leads of which I think I only need two at the most. Its S L ? P How do I wire these two remaining leads?

You're very welcome. Here's a bump.

The original SI plug should have two wires, a constant hot and a switched hot. I'm puzzled by the blue wire, as I have not seen one before.

Knowing where the white wire originates will help a lot too, so anyone who knows, where does that white wire come from, and is the blue wire the same as what turned into the white / brown wire in later harnesses?

Here is the diagram I have showing the conversion using the SI plug's wires from later years.

Thanks Matt,
I'm going to track down that dead white wire before I do anything else!
