Do all C3's leak water?

I'll relate my first experience with a wet Vette.
While attending University of Cincinnati back in 1969 I owned a 66 Vert.
Parked just off campus (rented driveway) I parked with the nose facing downhill. Came back after classes were over for the day and the Vette had floor boards full of water which had frozen (I found out when I jumped in and nearly broke my ankle as my foot slid up under the pedals)....
Adding insult to actual injury I then found out that my heater no longer worked.

On my 76 I spent some time leak checking without the dash or int. in. One thing I found was if I ran a lot of water on the right side the level would fill up between the fender and cowl enough that it came in like a waterfall through the air vent. After blowing out the crap at least I dont get the waterfall. Replaced all the seals and still have some small leaks.

The C3 Vettes with converters had to have a metal floor in stead of the fiberglass previous cars consisted of. What then happens, is the moisture from the leaks is trapped in the carpeting and then the seat frames and floors go to hell along with everything else made of metal under there. You have to eliminate either the leaks {which is impossible} or keep every moisture trapping substance to a minimum.
