Default 82 Steering situation

I just had the trailing arms rebuilt and installed all poly bushings to the front end along with wheel bearings.
I had the 4 point alignment done at the local chevy dealer and it seems the car still wants to wander a little bit on the highway...I dont like this at all.
Could this be a steering box adjustment? the front end is tighter that a fishes #ss and I'm not sure where to go next.
Any thoughts?

Just installed a new steering valve and cylinder kit on my 79 tonight.
The directions say that there is an adjustment screw on the end of the control valve unit. The control valve can cause the car to steer (pull) in one direction or another if out of adjustment. You may want to check into this if alignment is correct and tires are all good.
Just a thought....

Not enough toe-in will make it a little bit twitchy.

Take it back to the dealer.
They should be able to correct it with adjustments.
That's where I'd start.

Corvettes have limited caster adjustment and they tend to lose it as they age. Low negative caster (together with toe in) will will make a car wander and not track well. If the sheet you got from the adjustment indicates something less than 2 degrees caster on either side, it needs to be corrected. Most performance oriented adjustment recomenendations specify 4 to 5 degrees negative caster.

Don't mess with it until the dealer checks it out! If you mess with it - it will just give the stealer an excuse not to check and fix it.

That's what you pay the big bucks for. It is their job to go over everything and to make adjustments where needed. They most likely had a 20 year old kid fresh out of tech that has never seen the underside of a C3
