That helps me alot more! I dont quite understand the cam bolt adjustment, and the rod adjustment. Before I just had the cam bolt to adjust camber, Now I have two adjustments that control camber. What is the ajustment at the bottom of the page with hub travel?

One of the track guys will hopefully jump in here.

For street purposes, it's my understanding that the struts are temporarily set up close to factory length and the vehicle taken to an alignment shop for final adjustments.

The hub travel would be the hub vertical movement for track operations and the adjustment could be performed at the track then re-adjusted for street application when finished at the track. The advantage of these struts is the adjustments.

Would it be safe to say that the cam bolt will be used to get close to spec, and the rod will get it right on at aligment.

The purpose of the Smart struts is to "maintain rear wheel camber" This is done by lowering the inside of the strut rod. The adjustable cam's purpose is you to adjust the rod to get the best effect. I'm not sure what that is. I would assume on a lowered car one would want to set the cam a distance farther from the differential. On a stock set up somewhere in the middle of the slot should work. Once this is set then the rear camber should be set with the adjustable strut rods. Hopefully VBP will jump in or someone familiar with them will chime in. You might also call them let us know what they say.

I got them from Van Steel, I talked to them briefly, I was told to keep strut rod almost paralel with the half shaft, and adjust camber with the rod. If I do it that way one cam bolt is almost facing the complete opposite direction?
