Default door pins are draining my battery

I'm going to replace my defective alternator soon, but I discovered another drain. For some reason, my passenger side door pin is drawing power from the battery even when the door is closed. After pushing it in and playing with it a little the draw seems to stop. How do I fix this?

You can check the wires and see if thye are still connected. They go to ground whenthe door is open but if the pin switch is old/bad it may be grounding all the time.

The switches are threaded and adjustable.

If the switch checks out good with an ohm meter, you might try adjusting it so its closer to the door and the plunger goes inside the switch farther when the door is closed
