Default Manual Trans Additives??

After installing new motor and clutch I've just recently changed the gear oil in my M21. Used 80/90w gear oil as my manual calls for. Any suggestions for adding any additives to this trans?? It seems to run great but I'm hearing a slight gear whine, between shifts, that I wasn't hearing before.

Event the Tremec manual suggests GM Syncromesh fluid. Maybe someone else knows whats actually in it?

When I switched to Mobil 1 Gear a few years ago, all gear whine went away. Shifts real smooth and crisp - never grinds. Some will say not to use it, but unless you are all out racing, I can't see the harm. From my experience, it's a good thing!

Snychromesh is basically automatic transmission fluid.

OK in some newer manual trannies but not in the older Muncies and T-10s; stick with 80W-90.
