Default Heater Valve

Ok, does anyone know where I can get a heater shutoff valve that doesn't flippin' leack? I'm on my 3rd one from napa, the plastic kind, and it's leaking like a sive. I don't want to go the manual shutoff like I've seen but I can't keep putting new valves in every 3 months. Are the metal ones from Ecklers or mid America going to stand up?

Have you tried a new AC Delco one? The new Delco ones have a plastic body as well but I haven't had any issues with leaks at all.

I've gotten the ones I'm using from Napa, last time for that. I'll see if I can find an AC delco one around here. Thanks.

I use a diverter type valve from a Ford Ranger.

try Napa or Autozone, but whatever you do don't use plastic.
Most of us (definately me!) seem to wrench just a little to hard on that stuff.
