Default Headlight Actuators

I have a 1973 and I rebuilt the actuators. I still am having a problem with them not holding vacuum. Can the "yoke" adjustment cause this? Maybe it is not opening all the way? Looking for any help! Thanks in advance. I did replace the inner seal, retainer ring and out seal.

Hi s&b,
When you say you rebuilt the inner seal... are you saying you un-crimped the canister and replaced the inner diaphragm? If not, that's where you leak could be now.
Perhaps the 2 parts you replaced were the rod seal and dust boot.
Happy Thanksgivig!
Regards,
Alan

Which side of the actuator is leaking? The 'up' side or the 'down' side. If it's the 'down' it's non-repairable.
