Does anyone have any experience with taking their C3 to something like this? Does it help?

I take my C5 to a school like that. $295 is a good deal for one day if you get what they say on their site.

Do you or someone you know own a car hauling trailer? Can you afford being without your car for a period of time?

If you answered "Yes" to both those questions road racing is a good time. I've gone to some of the west coast tracks and it's easy to mess up your car. I went over the rumble strips and grass and destroyed the headers. another time i ripped the rear caliper off of the swing arm.

I wouldn't go unless my car was completely tight. You know good tires - racing alignment specs - fairly new steering and suspension components.

I'm sure that you will get a big smile when your out there tearing it up.

I totally agree with that. My C3 sure isn't road-race material. Not implying yours or anyone else's isn't, just not mine.

Yea, understandable. They are coming to a track just north of dallas in June so I probably should just wait till then for my first time out. If something bad does happen it will be much easier to get it back in my garage to work out the problems. 200 miles of towing would produce a large bill!

My Corvette club Rents the Brainard racetrack every year, extremely
We do Drag racing and road course. Brainard has a really nice road course with lots of twists and turns

They also have driving schools twice a year which are Mega

I've Been racing there twice now and it rocks! My car is not competitive with the ZO6's and the Lingenfielter 427's that show up but it's so much fun to be able to drive at the limit without worring about traffic or cops that I don't care!

Just do it!
