AN thread sizes – ACCEL DFI installation
Hello All
As a metric guy from Europe I’m not that much into AN/UNF/UNC sizes. I’m presently having a hard time to find an AN fitting that will fit the stock fuel pressure regulator without hitting my valve cover. It seems like an AN 6 male to male fitting fits into the threads of the outlet and I’m thinking about trying to get a banjo fitting.
Can someone confirm that AN 6 male thread is equivalent to a 9/16 – 18 thread?

You are going to need an adapter that will go from 9/16-18 to -6 AN if -6 is the size fitting you want ot use. I see this after a real quick search just to give you an idea http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/110503/10002/-1 its 9/16-24 not 9/16-18 but Im sure a better search will find the size you want

Ordering parts from USA takes about 10 days to my place, so getting it right from the beginning is important.
