I am reinstalling the A/C in my 1970 350 after a previous owner gutted the whole system. Can someone post a photo of where the “Blower Motor Relay” should be mounted? Also, what is the size of the inline fuse on the orange wire from the horn relay? Thanks!
The orange wire fuse is 30 amp, you should NOT USE the inline white stock type fuse holder, they fail quite regularly...use a spade fuse holder with heavy wires and a cap....ten ga wire...it's high speed only power, not anything lower, the relay jumpers out the rest of the power when it's flipped....
the relay is mounted to the inside diagonal of the blower housing, just above the exhaust manifold....on MY car I moved it to the top of the housing, very carefully as to not use too long a screw and damage the evap core just under it.....this mod allows it to run much cooler and hardly ever fail as a result...

Was there a problem with heat on the relay? How long of a screw did you end up using so as not to damage the evaporator?
