Default Need Help Replacing Window Regulator Gear

I am replacing the power window regulator gear on my '79 coupe. The instructions say to just drive the center pin out of the regulator assembly. I tried it but it does not look like it is budging. Before I go to a bigger hammer is there anyone who knows how to drive this pin out? Or can it be driven out? Thanks in advance for your help.

Here is the pin from the top side...(this is the side I am driving from)

Here is the pin from the bottom side...

Bairs has a video they sell on inspecting cars and they cover that on it. If I recall they just hammer them out and reinstall and peen afterwards.

Thanks for the help guys! Yeah, I was thinking this morning that the bottom of the pin looks like it may have been peened. So I might try grinding it flush and then driving the pin out from the bottom side. Thanks again for the input.
