No but recently seen a 69 427/435 dynoed. It was stock specs, heads and induction with a hydraulic roller and dyno headers. Just over 500 HP and torque at the flywheel.

A couple of years ago, one of the magazines dyno tested a freshly rebuilt, stock to the letter 67 427-435 car and it made 287 hp to the tires. Again, that was bone stock through exhaust manifolds and the car had side exhaust.

It is a 1969 427/435 hp engine. factory compression ratio, unported factory head engine built to factory specs with a correct tripower with a hydraulic roller cam upgrade. Dyno headers were used on the dyno run. Was built for a forum member. I thought this was how I described it the first time through. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

I'm interested because I was thinking to detune , in future , my L88 to L72 but 368hp are not exhactly amazing... I supposed the 427-435 was capable of at least 400hp...

Factory manifolds and stock side exhaust kill HP. I read somewhere, I think on this forum, they cost you 100 HP compared to headers and free flowing exhaust.
