What Battery for 1978 L48?
Hi! So - over the winter my battery decided it'd be better not to work anymore and I'll have to buy a new one. What's the right battery as to the specs (not brands)? I think my battery was a bit weak, having problems with the starter and all... I've heard about "74 AH" or "64 AH" - what was original, and what is best (this might differ... :-)

Daniel,
US specs refer to CCA (Cold Crank Amps) , german specs to AH (Ampere Hours)
Go with a 64 to 66 AH battery you can buy at almost any supermarket or home improvement store.
Be careful to check the location of the + and - (!!!) as well as the proper connections!
