TKO 600 install!!!!!!!!
I know I've read all the hype, TKO's "Perfect Fit", but we all know nothing fits perfect without some modding. I myself wouldn't mind the install, however anyone living in South Texas will tell you; the heat is set on Hell down here(102 today!) So, my question is this, does anyone recommend or know of a Transmission shop that has performed this type of install here in South Texas? Any info would be helpful, thanks again for your input!

I have done a few of these myself. If you are going from an auto to 5 speed it requires a bit more work. If you already have a stick car it is an easy swap. These cars have toleraces so not everything fits perfectly but it is really not to bad to do at all. Takes some time to do a nice job but it can be done easily. Sorry can't help you out on the installers in your area. If you lived close to Philadelphia I'd be happy to install it for you.

I installed one in my 78' and it was a "Perfect Fit". Keisler has a list of reccomended installers on their web site, check to see if there is one close to you.
