strut rod question (spring removed?)
not finding an answer or mention to this but i am making a strut rod bushing replacement project this week cause its gonna rain 4 days in a row. ive readup on all soaking in PB, the pipe end used for hitting the bolt if need be, the do's and donts, but no one mentioned if the spring needs to be removed too or not? im able to get under the car without jacking due to a drive on lift. i can have access to puller if need be too. should i say screw it and move on? or tackle this job within the 4 days which i will probably need.

you can do this in about 3 hours or less. the one thing i would do is to get the rear end off the ground ,and on jack stands. this will give you more room, and unload any tention on the strut rods. you can do this without removing the spring..
