Re: what car is it? (ksems)
Guys that is a 69. I somehow, somewhere came across a full size shot of the car and have it as a background/screensaver on my computer. It looks like it has been shot late in the evening.
From: WANTED: '68 rear valance with b/u light assemblies IM, e-mail, or PM me here. Thanks!

No question it is a ’69… chrome gills, Stingray emblem, and side pipes. I guess it COULD be a ’68 that had the gill inserts, emblem, and side pipes added… I’m a third of the way there.

Quickest way to identify is the door opener. 68 had pushbutton key to open door. 69-82 just the flush mounted lock.
If you can see the door button in that little picture then more power to you. At any rate,we can see from the bigger picture that it is indeed a '69... with a cool set of tires as well.
The car is a 1969 427 Roadster. How I know... The turn signals in the front grill are round and the grills are blacked out. This means 68 or 69. The script writing above the gills only means one thing... STINGRAY! 1968 did not have a Stingray in the line up... it skipped a year to 1969! The hood is a Big Block and a 427 was the fire breathing dragon.... :D
