Default Q-Jet question.

What size are the idle-mix screws for a 1979 Q-Jet? Are they a proprietary size, or can they be turned by a standard socket? I don't seem to have one that will fit.

I expect the screw heads are sort of a rectangular shape, so no standard hex head will grip them properly. Getting the right female from an auto parts supply place is the best I can suggest. Another member had earlier suggested using a piece of tubing, bent flat to mimick the shape, but I don't know the size and it is a tight fit around the hole. I made a custom piece myself using aluminum stock and a milling machine, but it was so long ago that I can't remember the dimensions.
