is any one using the led tail lamps... if so what are the perks...do u like them?? im looking to replace my old cracked lenzs. and just wanted to knowwhat u guys think...... thanks Neptune
I don't like the ones that look like tractor trailer lights either.
That said, I have LED lights in mine, but I wanted the tail lights to still appear vintage --- so I found some bright LED replacement bulbs & used them in the original tail light lenses.
The bulbs I bought are approximately as bright as OEM (maybe a touch brighter) but you can not see the individual LEDs within the lens. The are much more crisp -- instant on/off instead of the old, lazy look the originals had.
I think these are a very nice balance of new and old - which is what my car is all about.

That is the Amber and Red 5 Watt Luxeons on the low settings (3 Watts). The white lights are my 6 Watt parking lights. I did almost my entire car in LEDs and I'd be happy to assist. These pictures are older and I've changed some things.
