i am trying to find some aftermarket seats for my 75 C3 coupe. the stock seats are crap and i want something more comfortable and something that will fit of course... but not one of those buckets on a dune buggy.

Actually to let you know, i used the original seats, and just purchased brand new already covered inserts. I installed them in my cans and they are very nice. New foam makes a big difference.

I just ran across you post discussing installing c5 seats in your c3; I have a '74 c3 and I really want to swap the seats out to either a later c3 '82 or seats such as what you have [c5]. What did you have to modify to do the install? Did they bolt right in? Thank you, in advance.

C5 seats in a 1974 c3
Hey Grumpy, Those C seats fit in real nice, they are a little snug at
the upper side blusters and door panel but they are no problem. They mount
in with no real effort on the old seat tracks and give a much better feel then the
old C3 seats did out of my 74. You can find these for around 300 to a 1000
dollars, keep checking the C5 parts here on the forum thats how I found mine
for only 400. After installing these seats I find my car more enjoyable to drive.
