Default Emissions tests in Louisiana?

I've read that every vehicle must be tested. Does this include older cars? How "tight" are the tests?

Regards, Mark

I read "vehicle testing" and assumed it meant emissions also. So, you do have to have it inspected for $10 or so. Is this correct? That's good if they don't worry you about emissions on an older muscle car. Thanks, mark.

Yes Mark, they do require an inspection sticker. Make sure you take it to Boudreaux in Kaplan and you won't even have to have the car with you.

You will have to carry registration, insurance....all the usual suspects.

This is Louisiana, half the people here probably can't spell emissions. All you need to get an inspection sticker is $10 and a valid insurance card. In highschool I had a Jeep with open headers and never had a problem getting it inspected. :yesnod:
