Anyone have experience with this product?
http://crossmembers.com/corvette.htm
Saw the ad in CHP, checked them out online and confirmed they are the supplier to the summit brand as well.

My current x-member has a small buckle in it where the previous owner must have hit something and while I am pulling everything out I am thinking of replacing this at the same time.

Hmmmm. I wonder if it is lighter than the gigantic stock one we have?
I have a friend that I helped install one of these in his G body car and it was a nice piece. Looked good and high quality, I thought.

Nice looking piece....too bad it's not made for the Vette. I'm going to convert my 76 to a 700R4, and don't want to fool with hacking up my factory piece...so I found a source at a reasonable price, if anyone has been searching for the same.

Yes it is. The links in the original post point to a Corvette specific crossmember. Look again.

Well golly-g-willickers, Beav!! I stand corrected!! I guess it helps to read the WHOLE post!! Again...a nice piece...no doubt. The one I found is almost $100 bucks less...which as you know...will get a guy an emblem....or maybe a sunvisor!!
