Brake pedal height adjustment?
comparing the height of brake pedals in my 2 cars. on one, the brake is about the same height as the clutch, with the gas pedal being much lower or closer to the floor. in the other car the brake is closer in height to the gas pedal and i find my self leaning on the gas when i press the brake sometimes if i'm not careful. which is correct? i'm assuming it should be similar height to the clutch to avoid the problem i just described....and is there a way to adjust the brake pedal height?
thanks,
paul

you are right...the car with power brakes is the one with the pedal closer to the floor. it's almost the same height as gas pedal. why the difference between pb and non-pb? i don't like it being so close in height my fat foot has a tendency to touch the gas. gonna take some getting used to

I wished the gas pedel was further away in my 81 it seams all three peddles, gas, brake and clutch are close to same height. I feel the clutch and brake should be same height and gas pedel further away. Just my thoughts. Al

play gumby and look to see if the push rod for the MC has a "turn buckle" set up where it connects to the brake pedal .
