I used the steel shim gasket with the same combo, same cam etc. Make sure you spray some aluminum paint on both sides of the shim gasket

Felpro p/n 1094 is 0.015" thick, has 3.2cc volume AND has a rubbery elastomeric coating; thus NO additional paint, sealer or other coating should be applied to it. Do suggest clean both decks & heads with brake cleaner & dry just before install.
me thinks you'll be above 10:1 scr

Then that would be a coated steel shim gasket, he asked about a steel shim gasket, only kidding around
Anyway I had about the same combo and with the right parts I made 296RWHP
