Folks ... when you see a head gasket speced for 4" ... that simply means it's speced for those in the family of 4" bores. AFAIK ... there are NO off-the-shelf gaskets for a 302/327/350 that have an ID of 4.000". You'll find, most have ID between 4.100" & 4.200" ... often Not round but irregular"... typically about 4.166".
A good gasket choice for either IRON L48 / L81 / L82 HEADS is Felpro p/n 1094 ... bore=4.100", thickness=0.015", volume=3.2cc, rubber-coated steel shim. there is only one gasket per pkg ... order two for a rebuild/overhaul ... you can get them thru most local parts stores.
