How important is the vapor return system?
Hi, The previous owner of my 73 has installed a summit fuel pump under the hood and has it ran directly to the sending unit with no filter, does this sound right? Also the vapor return lines just run to the front of the car and attach to nothing, they are just open. Any suggestions? Thanks!

most electric fuel pumps ,push fuel better than they suck fuel.you shoud put the pump closer to the tank.or go back to stock .it works fine for most cars .a fuel line with no filter will cause a problem in time ,your carb does not like it .even my lawn mower has a factory filter.your vapor lines can help you on any gas smell and help with gpm,not much but some .
