From a previous post you stated that you had reclining seat back syndrome. I have this as well with the driver's seat. What kind of repair kit did you get to help this?

I also have black leather seats (which were newly recovered before I purchased the car) that have a stain on the passenger's seat. Is there a way to stain or fix this to match the existing leather?

Ecklers sells the kit, its really just a steel plate to reinforce the back end of the bottom seat part. Its around $30. Still haven't installed it yet, poor wife still can't drive the vette :jester
