L88 hood
I have a 1972 coupe with a small block but like the look of the L88 hood over my stock hood. I found a new GM in the box L88 hood with the air cleaner box. What air cleaner should I be using? The cicle for the air cleaner looks offset.

The GM L-88 hood air cleaner box looks offset because the engine is offset in the car. And not just the L-88's. All of them.
The L-88 aircleaner is a baseplate with a foam seal, a screen and a small top. The actual filter fits into the hood. Search at any of the vendors and you can see what they look like.
