Default Flashers don't work, Hazard works

Hey Guys,

This is my First post, I'm fresh owner of 1981 Corvette.

I have small problems with the car, first is my turn signals
when I use turn signal **** my city light turns on ( the white light that are on sides of the car) they stay on ( dont blink) untill i move the **** to neutral position, turn signals indicators are not flashing on insturment panel..

When i turn on Hazard , flashers works just fine..

I was playing with fuses yesterday , in order to locate battery drain , didn find the drain but somehow I broke the turn signals

Any advices??

Thanks in advance

Two things to check especially since you were working in the fuse box...first check the turn signal fuse to make sure it is not broken, blown or not seated all the way.

Second, there is a turn signal flasher in the fuse box. It is a cylindrical aluminum device about the size of a quarter and about 1 inch tall. They are cheap at any parts store.

By the way, there is a separate flasher for the Hazard warning lights.

Late to the party. With turn signals or flashers not working, after re-seating, like you did, I would swap flashers before making a trip to parts store. If that cured it, I knew it was the flasher.
