anyone got a power antenna wiring diagram
ok my dash has been in and out several times now to find i have a severe short i traced the short to the cig lighter and power antenna.
heres what bubba did they wired the steady power supply for the power antenna to the hot of the cig lighter. with all that hooked up poof fuses go like mad. with the cig lighter not hooked up its ok.
i would like to put the power antenna the way it should be and not blacked tape sliced into the cig lighter hot.
bad enough i had a radio installed by a stereo shop and good lord they did the worst job i ever seen. just goes to never let anyone do work thats hidden by dash or other places. and do it yourself if you want the job done right

ugh i am a idiot at times asked for corvettes central's conversion info and maybe i should try looking at their site a lil better doh link says installation instructions right there lol
well figured this one out guys thatnks again learn something new everyday did not know 77's did not come with power antennas
just gotta run the hot wire on something a lil better then the lighter wire as they did. corvette's central instructions state either connect to battery or a hot ingition switch lead. not the lighter hot wire ugh damn it bubba.
once again thanks guys for the help
