Considering a '73 C3 for purchase...
Just thinking a little about picking up a 1973 C3 for grins...
Really want a manual trans, but seems to be many, many more autos out there at much more reasonable prices.
How much trouble is it to do a auto to manual (5 or 6 spd) conversion on one of these cars? Any big problems associated with the change over?
My initial thoughts would be to purchase a pretty nice car (restored or semi-restored) to start with, pluck out the auto stuff and go with some Camaro/Firebird parts to complete the conversion. I'm not looking to get into a complete retrofit, looking for some pretty much bolt on/in ideas.
Your thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
