Default My modified LS1 water pump

Kind of happy about this.
Instead of worrying about the debate on using the CSR water neck and then using a SBC thermostat that doesn't seperate the heater lines I modified it to fit an LS1 style T-stat.
I cannot figure out for the life of me why they don't machine them this way to begin with. It still allows for both styles of T-Stats to be used.

Also drilled and tapped and plugged new fittings.
Just happy I didn't get halfway through and screw it up.

yep.
it's simple which is why i don't get why they don't make them that way to begin with.
The other company that makes them that way charges $100 vs their $50.
Think this would give them a big competitive advantage.

Nice job. I did something similar but being the engineer that I am, pun intended, made it work with some flapper wheels. Been working for a couple of summers now.

ya although both ebay and half the parts stores have it show up under ls1 t-stat, and if you break the old one out I bet it works on those too.
