If you're up for a drive in the morning the locals get together at the Sherwood Hall deli off SW Hall Ln in Alexandria tomorrow morning at 9. BTW - that beast sounds awesome! Any bites on the listing?

Thanks. I will be up next weekend to check it out then bring my car up the next weekend. I have had some interest, but nothing to let me let the car go. I have time.

The Sherwood meet is only once a month. The other two meets are on the first and third Sunday of each month at Hollin Hall. The next one is on the 6th.

I went to Katie's today to check it out, certainly some very high end cars there. If the wx is nice next Sat I will drive up with my car. Cheers

I need to have someone cut and TIG my AC adapter so I can get it under the hood brace. I think we can go as low as where the discolor stops on the fitting. Anyone know where I could send it and get it done?. Thanks

Rotary compressor with 5-bolt rear plate. Can it be clocked, or is that the only position the back plate can be mounted?

I would think that there must be a Street Elbow made that would be considerably shorter than what You have.

Thanks but not for this vintage air system. I found someone who will cut and TIG it for me. Hopefully it is enough

Do a search for "90-degree female O-ring short drop fittings" there are plenty of short radius fitting you can buy that will do the job.
I would post some links but I'm not sure if I am allowed. I get in enough trouble around here.

Nothing earth shattering but I bought a steering wheel/column extension to bring the steering wheel closer and lowered the floor boards about 2 inches. What a difference!!! Also came back from Katies coffee and cars in Falls Church (look it up) and is was nice to see the high end owners, Ferrari, McLaren, AMG, Porsche etc come up to me and wanted to go all over my car. I am still smiling. I have almost 400 miles on her, and redid the suction return fitting for the AC and it looks like I will need to notch the hood unless I can rotate the back plate. I will get up with Vintage Air. Happy fathers day

AC is up and running and I just added 3m film on the front of the rear flares and will begin making a front spoiler. I went to check out the new dominion raceway just down the road from me and it looks "good enough". They had the exotic car day when I was there where they had a few Porsche's, Lamborghini's and Ferrari's there humming around the track. I would like to get out there. cheers

After 500 miles with the Corbeau retractable harness I will pull it for a 5 point harness. Just never seemed to work the way I thought it should and with this car the 5 point is a much better solution and I still can reach all the switches. Pics soon, just ordered the harness.
